Description
Incorporating the same compact engineering which distinguishes the ClearStream family, the C5 is targeted specifically for the high VHF band. Purposely built for high VHF, the ClearStream 5's efficient, compact design offers excellent gain and impedance matching across the whole post 2009 VHF DTV spectrum. The ClearStream 5 is superior to existing combination antennas for receiving VHF DTV signals and offering good directivity.This leap forward in efficient design allows up to 90% of the available broadcast signal to actually reach the incoming antenna cable rather than being lost to impedance mismatches. They are engineered for extra strength and durability, using powder coated aluminum for corrosion resistance and are easy to assemble.

The C5 is a Strong and Sturdy Antenna and will Provide Reliable Reception and Last a Long Time Outside.
The C5 Is Designed for Reception of the VHF High Band Tv Channels 7 thru 13 when the Signal Strengths are Weak and Strong.
Out of Band Reception.
The C5 will also do a Good Job of Receiving the UHF Tv Band Channels of 14 thru 51 when the Signal Strengths are Strong.
And the C5 will also Receive the VHF Low Band Tv Channels 2 thru 6 when the Signal Strengths are Strong.

I live only about 12 miles from the transmitting antenna for channel 7, but the antenna must be in my attic, which is lined with metal as a "radiant barrier", plus I have a TiVo Premiere, which has a notoriously bad tuner and has trouble picking up relatively strong signals. Rabbit ears produced a lot of dropouts of the digital signal, but with this antenna there are no dropouts at all and the signal meter on the TiVo is in the green all the time.

I only needed the antenna to get FOX TV. Signal comes in strong and I live about 31.5 miles away from the transmitter.
